FC Dallas are looking to secure their second win of the season and their first on the road as they face the Colorado Rapids.

Dallas and Colorado played in a scoreless draw in the 2021 season opener on April 17 at Toyota Stadium. The Rapids come out of a 2-1 loss to LAFC Last weekend.

FC Dallas Notes:

Key player of FC Dallas – Jader Obrian – The young winger has been one of the few bright spots for FC Dallas this season. Getting more of him could be the difference between extending that early season rut or a win.

Struggles in Colorado – The Rapids are undefeated in six consecutive home games against FC Dallas (W2 D4) and have lost only twice in the last 15 home games against Dallas (W6 D7 dating from 2008). The Hoops’ only clean sheet at that point came in their last win at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park, a 1-0 win in October 2014.

Misfortunes of the road – FC Dallas have lost three straight away games in the regular season, edging 7-1 in those games. Dallas hasn’t lost four in a row on the road since a five-game losing streak in August-September 2017.
