The app update focuses on visual design, ease of navigation, ease of discovering offers and products, and an immersive and interactive experience with live commerce. Design changes, including upgrades to typography, iconography, layouts, animation and navigation, and colors to reduce visual clutter and improve overall content readability.
Flipkart has also introduced several new features, including “Brand Mall” mode to provide a premium experience for customers, “Image Search” to simplify and refine the product discovery journey for customers, direct” to provide an interactive shopping experience. , and “video cataloging” to enable customers to get dynamic product information such as fit, fabric, to overcome vernacular and language barriers.

Shoppers looking for branded products and a more premium shopping experience can now switch to the “Brand Mall”, an easy way to experience quality products from famous brands at great prices. Regular mode will continue to offer incredible value and offers for shoppers looking for an affordable selection.

Image search

As millions of new shoppers explore e-commerce, they want to know what their favorite celebrity has been wearing recently and shop for similar and trending products. Image search makes this easy.

All they have to do is take a screenshot of the outfit or item they’re looking for and upload it to the app by clicking the “Camera” icon. The search engine will then search for identical or similar products.

Live trade

Live trading was introduced to allow users to discover new products and learn more about them through interactive video content led by influencers on Flipkart. Across all categories, millions of shoppers will now be able to watch live video content for makeup tutorials, curated fashion looks and even new phone and electronic launches.

Features like ‘Chat and buy‘ will further allow shoppers to bargain as they do when shopping at their local stores.
