Georgia takes on USC Upstate on Tuesday at 5 p.m.

ATHENS, GA.——The (18th) Georgia Bulldogs continue a seven-game season at home on Tuesday when USC Upstate travels to Foley Field. The first pitch is scheduled for 5:02 p.m. and the game will be available on the Georgia Bulldog Sports Network and SEC Network+.

Tuesday’s action against the Spartans (10-5) will be the last game before Southeastern Conference action heats up on Friday when Mississippi State (10-7) comes to town for a series DRY. The Bulldogs are 13-3 and have four home games this week. The Bulldogs are 10-1 at Foley Field this season. Georgia has won four straight as the Spartans wrap up a home game against Cincinnati on Monday. This will be the first encounter with the Spartans.

Georgia bats .297 with 17 homers this year while posting a 3.38 ERA and fielding percentage of .972. CF graduate Ben Anderson leads the regulars at .375-3-10 while the SS graduate Cole Tate is next at .362-1-8. Anderson and Tate have reached base in 14 straight games. Anderson ranks third in the SEC with a 0.551 OB% and a team best 15 walks. Tate ranks fifth in the SEC with 25 hits. Second year C/DH Corey Collins is tied for third in the SEC with six homers and sixth in the league with a .788 SLG%. Collins is batting .346 with 15 RBIs.

Freshman RHP Chandler Marsh (1-0, 0.00 ERA, 5.2 IP) and RHP Coleman Willis (0-0, 2.08 ERA, 4.1 IP) have seen their roles increase lately. Willis will make his second career start on Tuesday. Last Wednesday at Ga. Southern, Willis made his starting debut and went 1.1 innings, allowing a run on a hit with three walks. He did not feature in the decision as Georgia won 5-1. For the year, he pitched 4.1 innings.

* Georgia pinch hitters this year are batting .333 (6 for 18) while the opponents are 0 for 11.
*The Bulldogs have scored in the first innings in 12 of 16 games this year, going 11-1 in those contests. (The loss came to Ga. Southern 13-5 at SRP Park last Tuesday in North Augusta, SC, after the Bulldogs took a 5-0 lead).

Baseball Home Game/Parking Tickets
Three new flexible ticket packages are available for 5, 10 and 15 games. They can include any game from the home schedule. Prices for these packages are $40 for five games, $70 for ten games, and $90 for 15 games.
Single-game tickets to most non-conference games as well as Thursday and Sunday SEC games are also options. Single game tickets are $10 while group tickets (10+ tickets) are $5 each. Currently, individual game sales and group tickets are not available for SEC games on Friday or Saturday or for the game. For ticket or group questions, please call (706) 542-1231, Ext. 1. Liquor sales available at Foley Field
Following the successful launch of alcohol sales at Stegeman Coliseum for men’s and women’s basketball games, Georgia Athletics announced that it will continue its pilot program in baseball and softball this year. In accordance with the SEC policy on alcohol at sporting events, UGAAA will sell a variety of domestic, imported, craft and premium beers at designated concession stands inside Foley Field.
