ITV game show The 1% Club has viewers all complaining about the same thing

People who watch ITV’s new game show The 1% Club complained about the same when it debuted. Hosted by comedian Lee Mack, the show features 100 contestants who will be narrowed down to one person after answering a series of questions.

However, after watching the first episode, viewers were shocked at how easily the questions were asked. One person watching even said that the new show made them feel like the next Einstein after they were able to pass the different stages with ease.

At the start of the show, each contestant has £1,000 and a free pass. However, if they are unable to answer correctly, they will be kicked out of the game and their money will go into the prize pot.

The questions are meant to get harder as the show progresses, as the number of contestants will drop significantly. This means the show’s final contestant will end up winning £100,000.

It’s hosted by British presenter and comedian Lee Mack who said he loves it. He said if you lack general knowledge, this show is for you, reports The Sun. Speaking about the show, he said: “If, like me, your lack of general knowledge frustrates you when doing quizzes, then watch the 1% Club. That way, like me, you can be frustrated with your lack of logic.

“Great candidates, lots of money to be won and the guarantee ‘I can’t believe you failed to solve this one dad!’ moments to cause family arguments. I love it!

Although many appreciated being able to answer questions with the show at home, the majority of viewers said the questions were “too easy”. Some have even said that after seeing what candidates are asked, they register themselves to earn money.

Jamie said: “I don’t think I’ve ever seen a game show with easier questions than this 1% club. Can apply”

Adam commented, “Just me or are the questions on this 1% Club show really easy??”

Louise tweeted: “#1%Club, how do people get these questions wrong? It’s more than easy”

Lou added, “#The1PercentClub has convinced me that I’m the next #Einstein. These questions are incredibly easy.”

While Scott said: “They have way too much time to answer these ridiculously easy questions”

The 1% Club continues next Saturday at 8.30pm on ITV
