Gurugram: The real estate sector has witnessed significant growth in both residential and commercial sectors during the year 2021-22. According to the IBEF report, the real estate sector is expected to contribute 13% to India’s GDP by 2025 and the market is also expected to grow from Rs 12,000 crore in 2019 to Rs 65,000 crore in India. by 2040. The growth rate of the real estate sector was also underlined by the Minister of Finance in her budget speech and also indicated that urban planning will be the main concern, as almost half of the country’s population is expected to live in the cities by 2047, when India will celebrate 100 years of independence.
