ATLANTA (CBS46) – An Atlanta restaurant chain is at the center of an online movement to bring back its chicken offerings.

Ajay, Viren and Ryan are close friends and share a love and a passion for one thing: “This guy Ajay and this guy Ryan and a bunch of other friends of ours we always used to go to Houston together to go. eat. the chicken tenders, ”said Viren Bhatia, the university’s business manager.

They all share an undying love specifically for the “ chicken tenders, ” as they like to call them, at the Houston restaurant chain.

“I’ll never look at chicken offerings the same again,” said Ryan, who is also studying for a business degree. But tragedy struck in 2020.

“Last February they decided to take them off the menu,” Viren said.

So the group launched a campaign that took off for the chain owned by the Hillstone Group to bring back their beloved ones.

From t-shirts and petitions to social media marketing, even involving celebrities to help bring back the right tenders.

“Houston, Hillstone Group, we want the trends to come back,” comedian Heather McMahan said in an Instagram story.

The NJ-based group is now planning to place a notice board at the Paces Ferry location in Atlanta to try and get their point across.

“We asked our subscribers what the best location would be and almost 45 to 50, it was like looking at West Paces Atlanta, please just look at this place, this is the best location for that. Then we looked on Google Maps and saw the image and we thought, yeah, we’re not going to beat that, ”said Viren.

CBS46 reporter Jamie Kennedy has contacted the company who say they know about the campaign but have yet to send a statement in any form on why the article has disappeared after so many years and s ‘he will come back.
