The 54th Annual Christmas Auction to Benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Siouxland Goes Virtual

SIOUX CITY (KTIV) – Like most events this year, the annual Christmas auction for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Siouxland will be held virtually.

The 54th Annual Christmas Auction will be a two-day event that will take place on Wednesday, December 9 and end on Thursday, December 10.

Due to concerns over COVID-19, organizers have decided to hold the online auction, which will include more than 100 different items to bid on.

There will be items like helicopter rides, a full hunting package with a rifle, and even a trip to see the 2021 National Rodeo Finals in Las Vegas.

Organizers say it was a priority to hold the auction as it is their biggest fundraiser of the year.

“It’s really important for us to have people in the community who are willing to donate, sponsor and be a part of the club to really help these kids and make sure they have the best possible experience and to to really put them on the right track to follow their future and to really provide support, strength and a safe space to go to every day, ”said Kalynn Sortino, Director of Resource Development.

The mission of the Boys & Girls Club of Siouxland is to ensure that children in the area have a safe place to learn and grow.
