Virginia Wrestling | Virginia travels to face Duke in Saturday doubles

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Virginia – The Virginia wrestling squad (3-5, 0-3 ACC) continues to compete on the road this weekend, traveling to take on Duke (7-8, 0-3 ACC) in a 2-hour duel on Saturday. February 12 at Cameron Indoor Stadium.

THE SERIES WITH DUKE
Virginia leads the all-time series with Duke 62-7-2 and has won three straight in the series. Last season, the Hoos won a 42-3 win over the Blue Devils in Charlottesville, claiming nine of 10 weight classes. Four of the Blue Devils’ seven wins have come in fixtures at Durham. The last victory for the Blue Devils dates back to the 2018 season when the Cavaliers lost a game 19-16.

The Cavaliers are hosting the ACC Wrestling Championships on Sunday, March 6 at John Paul Jones Arena and tickets are on sale for the event. Fans can purchase tickets at www.UVATix.com and are $10 for adults and $5 for youth 18 and under. ACC students enter free with a valid student ID. Group tickets are available for $3 for groups of 20 or more.
